OpenEMR Current:: Organic Treatments - Seeking Internship
Hello,

I am a 20 year old college student seeking an internship as a physicians assistant (possibly). The OpenEMR software intrigues me and I would love to help out with the development of things. I have a somewhat extensive background in treatments and wartrol medicine so I believe that would help out as well. I need 120 hours to get my credits.

Thank you,
Mark

OpenEMR Current:: Php form module
Hi all,
I must create a contact module, for a site, a little particular: the site propose services that are assigned to professionals chosen by the site administrator.
It would have to work this way: the customer write on a site and an email arrive to the administrator; he decides which professional assign the work to ( and send him the contact).
From that moment the professional and customer comunicates only by the site and on the site must stay the archive of the emails
that they exchange (visible to the administrator).
What I would like is that the professional and the customer comunicate only by the mail to the site, no need to use username and password: it must be the site that manages coded mailboxes that are assigned to them but they don't have to be in contact in others ways and don't have to ask anything else to the customer.
Does anyone of you know if there is a cms or script already ready or similar to this that I can modifiy?
Thank you for your suggestions

__________________
Never seen gift him like these!
OpenEMR Current:: What I think EMR should include.
Mental Health agencies, such as Therapists, councilors and the like are very much onthe bottom end of the income bracket,and need EMR's as much as anyone. Things to help them:

1. Pre-configured mental health version

2. Records access restriced by provider data (i.e. only the admin and the provider can see that persons mental health record.

3. MOST IMPORTANT: The ability to alter the schedule for hours greater than 6PM *and have the calender show it*. Therapists do a lot of contact hours after 6PM.

I posted this at sourceforge, but I'll add it here just in case.

For those who might also be experiencing this, here's the solution:

In the openemrsrcdir/interface/usergroup/facility_admin.php file you need to make these changes:

Line 56 to 63 change to become:

<? xl('Name','e'); ?>:

<input type=entry name=facility size=20 value="<?=$facility['name']?>">

</d>

<? xl('Phone','e'); ?> <? xl('as','e'); ?> (000) 000-0000:

<input type=entry name=phone size=20 value="<?=$facility['phone']?>">

<? xl('Fax','e'); ?> <? xl('as','e'); ?> (000) 000-0000:

<input type=entry name=fax size=20 value="<?=$facility['fax']?>">

Line 81 to 93 change to become:

<?php xl('Billing Location','e'); ?>:

<input name=billing_location value="1" type=checkbox <?php if ($facility{'billing_location'}) echo "checked"?>>

<?php xl('Accepts Assignment','e'); ?>
(<?php xl('only if billing location','e'); ?>):

<input name=accepts_assignment value="1" type=checkbox <?php if ($facility{'accepts_assignment'} == 1) echo "checked"?>>

<?php xl('Service Location','e'); ?>:

<input name=service_location value="1" type=checkbox <?php if ($facility{'service_location'} == 1) echo "CHECKED"?>>

offline support [by rywang07]

OpenEMR Current:: offline support
Hello,

I'm working with a small hospital in India that caters to the poor. I'm evaluating OpenEMR to see whether this is something that they had been looking for.

The hospital also works with several affiliated rural clinics that are geographically wide-spread. These sites have no net access.

What we need is some offline access mechanism. For example, information collected and entered in the field should be easily integrated into the database at the "mother ship." Conversely, at least a portion of the database at the "mother ship" should be easily made available to any field worker.

Questions:

(1) What is possible today?

For example, in the worst case, field workers can enter data using a separate system, which could be as simple as a spreadsheet. After arriving at the central office, can we "import" something like a .csv file into the database at the central office?

In general, do we have some sort of "import" and "export" functionality?

(2) What is most easily achievable in the near future?

If I decide to write some of my own code to provide offline support, will it be possible for me to get some guidance in terms of how to proceed?

Please send your replies to

Thanks,
Randy

OpenEMR Current:: CK-ERP (Open Source ERP / CRM / MRP) v.0.24.1 released [with OpenEMR 2.8.3 connector]
Hi, folks,

I have posted a new release, v.0.24.1, of CK-ERP, at SourceForge.Net, http://sourceforge.net/projects/ck-erp .

New features include,

a connector for LegalCase and updated connectors for ClearHealth, OpenEMR and osCommerce,
facilities to convert sales order to purchase order and/or material/service requisition so as to procure the required material/service after a sale is concluded,
addition of a sample law office chart of accounts and a sample medical practice chart of accounts,
addition of Australian GST tax rate and updating of Canadian GST tax rate,
addition of narrow/wide display option for the various case handling screens,
addition of customer, vendor, employee contact lists, and,
addition of German translation for the Quotation module.

Special thank is due to David Epperson of Dallas for permission to make use of the "Law Firm Chart of Accounts" (located at http://www/txethics.org/TCLEPCOURSE2005/omlp/sec11.1.pdf) while generating the sample law office chart of accounts. The effort by Stefan Kemper of Switzerland in producing the new German translations is also gratefully acknowledged.

[Please note that the sample medical practice chart of accounts is designed for countries/regions where medical doctors are allowed to dispense prescription drugs within their medical practices. If the relevant medical practice is operating within a jurisdiction where doctors are prohibited from dispensing drugs, then it may be a prudent measure to delete all the drug sale, COGS – drugs, inventory – drugs and related accounts to avoid a presumption that in-practice drug sale had been planned.]

CK-ERP is an open source accounting/MRP/ERP/CRM system that runs on top of multiple middlewares. It comprises 22 modules - Administration, i18n, Contact Management, Customer Relationship, Customer Self Service, Vendor Relationship, Ledger, Bank Reconciliation, MRP, Warehouse, Inventory, Service, AP, AR, PO, SO, Quotation, POS for Cashier, POS for Manager, HR, Staff Self Service and Payroll. It provides accounting and back office functionalities to SMEs and utilizes the underlying middleware to administer accounts/groups. Please report error and suggestion to the discussion group / mailing list, CK-ERP-en(at)googlegroups.com or CK-ERP-zh_CN(at)googlegroups.com . General history and expected development is available at the discussion group's Archive.

Supported MiddleWares: LegalCase, MirrorMed, ClearHealth, OpenEMR, eGroupWare, Horde-GroupWare; Zencart, CRELoaded, osCMax, osCommerce; Drupal, Joomla, Mambo, e107, XOOPS, Xaraya; Moodle, Atutor; vTiger, XRMS; WordPress, b2evolution; TikiWiki; phpBB.

Information/Demo Websites:
http://ck-erp.org
http://ck-erp.net
http://ck-erp.com

Download is available from,
http://sourceforge.net/projects/ck-erp
http://gforge.oss.org.cn/projects/ck-erp
http://gf.cs.hit.edu.cn/projects/ck-erp
http://www.cnforge.org/modules/xfmod/project/?ck-erp
http://gro.clinux.org/projects/ck-ledger

Cheers,
Wu Chiu Kay, aka CK Wu, aka CK (CK is the preferred alias)
Hong Kong
